I WILL NEED A HEAD COUNT SO I KNOW WHO’S ATTENDING FOR HOW MUCH FOOD TO GET.

YES, YOU CAN BRING YOUR SPOUSE OR SIGNIFICANT OTHER. IF YOU BRING YOUR KIDS, PLAN ON YOU BEING THE BABYSITTER. THERE’S A PLAYGROUND OFF OF THAT AREA. ENCANTO PARK ALSO HAS THE ENCHANTED ISLAND AMUSEMENT PARK WITH RIDES FOR KIDS BUT IT COSTS $ TO GET IN. COME PREPARED IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO TAKE YOUR KIDS IN THERE. OTHERWISE, WE DON’T HAVE TO TELL THEM THAT IT’S EVEN THERE BECAUSE I’M SURE WE WILL BE FAR ENOUGH AWAY WHERE THEY WON’T SEE IT. LOL!

WE WILL ALSO BE CLOSE TO RESTROOMS! PLEASE EMAIL ME IF YOU ARE ATTENDING AND HOW MANY WILL BE COMING WITH YOU. PLEASE TRY TO KEEP IT LOW. THERE WILL BE NO SPECIAL DIET FOOD SO IF YOU NEED SOMETHING SPECIAL, PLEASE BRING IT WITH YOU. NO GLASS OR ALCOHOL IS ALLOWED IN THE PARK.

WE WILL BE THERE FROM 11AM SETTING UP. LET’S ALL MEET THERE STARTING AT NOON AND WE CAN LEAVE BY 5PM. SO WHAT DO YOU ALL THINK? ARE YOU GAME? LET ME KNOW.

Monday February 13 we have a very large party at the Wild Horse Pass Casino in one of the ballrooms. This is a confirmed event for one of our clients. The table count is 40 Blackjack, 8 craps tables, 4 roulette, 14 poker and 16 slot machines. I’m almost there but there are still a lot of you that have not signed up. If you could rearrange your work schedule to work this one it would be greatly appreciated. This is NOT our dealer party. It is a paying party so all hands on deck please! Thank you!

Please keep checking your schedule on a regular basis as this is the time of the year that they add a party on quickly and things can change daily.  January is a bunch of very small parties so it’s almost impossible to work everyone. Just so you know.

February 13th is a very large party and I do need all hands on deck for that one so please sign up if you haven’t already.

I will be posting our dealer party on January 22nd this week. We will be having a party/meeting so I can get everyone on the same page for this year. There will be food and a Blackjack table and craps tables for brushing up on your skills and having an opportunity for a little more training on those games if you need/want it.

I will be interested in interviewing for more people to get trained on crew. The requirements for truck drivers is a CLEAN and VALID drivers license and over 21 with muscles.

I am very excited about leaving 2011 behind us and am looking forward to having a better year all the way around. I hope you are too!

Look for January 22nd and RSVP as soon as you can because space is limited this year. Because of the space availability or lack of it, I have to tell you that this one has to be dealers only.

I will do a recap on this blog for anyone that cannot attend so that you know what was said and what points I need to go over.

REMEMBER THAT THE PAY ON NYE IS DOUBLE NORMAL PAY. BLACKJACK IS $100 FOR 3 HOURS AND THE REST ARE $120 FOR 3 HOURS.

I just realized what a major screw up I did on the scheduling site!!! Apparently, when I put up the MOCK Casino World parties for you to sign up on, it didn’t allow you to see anything else that was on the schedule! I can’t even tell you how sorry I am that this happened and am very angry at myself for not being a computer wiz by now. UGH! I guess you all noticed that I voided out the MOCK parties to allow the other ones to show up for you. This year is like no other that Casino World has ever had. The customers have chosen to try to cram all of their events into just a few dates and almost ALL of the Fridays are not happening. The big dates this year are the tenth and New Years Eve. Some of the other dates have very small amounts of equipment on them so I can’t put ALL of you to work. There is only so much to go around and I apologize from the bottom of my heart that this is happening in a time where we all need the money to survive. You need to know that my intentions where to keep all of you busy this month and everyone to be happy about it.

On a good note, once we can get this month out of the way, I want you all to know that there ARE parties starting in January and being booked through to November of next year so far.

I promise I won’t put up a MOCK party again….lesson learned.

Some dates just didn’t book enough parties. The dates that are very weak for work are as follows. December 2 and December 16th. Some customers are now readjusting their dates because it seems like EVERYONE wanted the tenth this year! UGH!!!! More work is now coming in daily, so all I can do at this point is wait and see. I know the phone will be ringing off the wall next week for the procrastinators.

New Years Eve is a heavy one this year too, so start looking for that date and sign up if you haven’t already done so.
